Stephen Angelos, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Steve Angelos is originally from Plattsburgh, NY. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1991. He then pursued advanced training in large animal internal medicine by doing an internship at Washington State University and completing a residence at UCDavis School of Veterinary Medicine. He taught at the University of California before moving to Kansas where he was an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is currently Board Certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Brady Hellman, DVM

Dr. Brady Hellman is originally from Richmond, VA. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2008. Following graduation, Brady completed a year long internship at Rhinebeck Equine, LLP in Rhinebeck, NY. She moved to Vermont to join the team at LAMA in 2009. In her spare time, Brady enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her four, four-legged children. She also owns J-Dog Designs, a small business specializing in hand-knit 100% Alpaca sweaters for small dogs. These sweaters are available on her website at

These staff members juggle several hefty responsibilities: meet and greet crew, official truck guards, lap warmers, and, on occasion, ice-cream taste testers. Feel free to say 'hello' to Quinn and Jackson should you spot them in the truck!

Kristin Quimby, Veterinary Assistant

Kristin was born and raised in Vermont. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine and lived in 4 different states before moving back to Vermont in 2003.  She lives in Westford with her two children Morgan, Aidan, and her husband Scott.  Their 4 legged family includes Tea, a Morgan/Quarter Horse cross, Snickers, a Miniature horse, Daisy, a sweet boxer, and two bunnies, Pippin and Lucky.  Kristin enjoys taking Snickers, a registered therapy horse, to visit with people in nursing homes. She also loves spending time with family and photography.  Kristen enjoys everything involving horses, especially exciting hunter paces and relaxing trail rides.

Catarina Ruksznis, DVM

Cat is originally from Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.  She graduated from Colby College, also in Maine, and went on to veterinary school at Cornell University. Following graduation, she completed an internship at New England Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Dover, NH. In her free time she enjoys riding her horse, Gallentry, hiking, kayaking and skiing.

Jordan Skudera, Veterinary Assistant

Jordan graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. She is a true lover of all animals great and small! She lives in Westford with her husband Rich, their daughter Elsie, their two dogs Roxy and Lula, and their cat, Jade. In her spare time, she loves to hike with her dogs, take care of other people's animals, and cook delicious food.
